"Embrace the suck."
The Fremont Cadet Squadron Emergency Services Academy - S.L.I.C. (Survive, Locate, Improvise, Communicate) is a training academy designed to take what you've learned at Pathfinder, and build on them. While Pathfinder is an entry-level activity, SLIC is an advanced course. It is much more intense both in skill level and type of activity. Members will be trained in higher-level navigation skills, survival skills, as well as ground search and rescue, all while living in the field. This year's school will be held in September.
